Met Knikki in Vallejo, enjoyable dinner with her, her folks and Clover.
Clover has named me, John Raven. The first time we met, I was largely dressed in black and riding a black motorcycle. Wondering what insight children truly have?

Knikki, Clover and I are off to Santa Cruz to visit some of Knikki friends from Haines and shop. Stopped by to visit Laney, interesting woman, with an amazing connection to the Sierra's. Then over to Tom and Shawna's for dinner while their two little ones entertained Clover.

Spent the night at Tom and Shawna's
Hung around Capitola at the beach , watched Clover chase the shore birds.
Dropped Clover off back in Vallejo, Knikki and I camped out near Napa.
Deer in the camp ground, stars out, drinking Perseco with pomagranet listened to the owls calling. Somehow we managed to both sleep on a single Thermarest sleeping pad. We do fit very well together.

Back to Vallejo to drop Knikki off and say goodbye for awhile. One last hug, one last kiss, I'm on my way with a tear in my eye
Met up with Jim and Max in Oakland the trip has begun. Heading on to the freeway I laugh as I watch Max pull a wheelie onto the on ramp.
Yeah, not much freeway traffic. Met Rick, a friend of Jim's and our host for the evening at Alice's Restaurant, a gathering place for motorcycle riders of all descriptions. Nice two lane twisty road going to and coming. I'm figuring something's out riding wise. I laugh as we get close to Rick's house, we drive by the beach where Knikki, Clover and I played the day before.
Steak dinner with Rick an Uncle Bob, a retired ski bum from the Sierras. Great food and conversations
